I have been trapped in self-destructive thought for most of my adult life. As a result, many afflictions have followed me including anxiety, depression, self-doubt, and lack of attention. Drawing from my experiences in therapeutic settings, and from my research of countless meditation methods and decades of studying psycho-spiritual literature, I have developed a daily practice that has allowed me to live an authentic life free from the mental and emotional loop that had owned me. I would like to teach you this practice.

No Thought No Problem meditation is designed to help you loosen the grip of repetitive, self-destructive thinking by changing how you relate to your mind. Your thoughts demand attention. This simple daily practice provides a separation from the continual movement of your mind.

The basic premise is this: The mind is the world’s greatest computer and movie theater all in one. But, do you use the computer or does it use you? Do you live in the theater watching the same film every day? Your focus is the deciding factor. No Thought No Problem meditation gives you the power to take responsibility for your focus, leave the toxic relationship you have with your mind, and discover who you are beyond identification with your thoughts - your authentic self.

My initial practice of this meditation provided a relief that brought me tears of joy. My self-worth and self-love resurfaced, and with continued practice have flourished.

It is a simple meditation that takes only 20 minutes a day. (Consider how much time you spend lost in destructive thinking or looking at a screen each day). No Thought No Problem can be learned in the first session. Retention sessions are encouraged as needed.

My Experience

“No kid thinks as much as I do”

This revelation occurred to me one summer afternoon at the age of 12 while sitting on a swing. I had very little social stimulation during my boyhood and as a result I spent much of my time living in my imagination. This was not a problem at the time but as I grew older my mind created toxic thought streams stemming from various painful experiences. These repetitive streams of thought dominated my entire exsistence.

In my early 30s the emotional pain from living fully in my head led me to mental illness and addiction to substances as well as relationships. I struggled for literally decades, trying to get help any way I could imagine. I went through ten treatments, four hundred therapy sessions, multiple psychiatric hospital stays, and over one thousand 12 step meetings. Usually, after a treatment, therapy visit, or meeting, I would feel better but only for a few hours or days.

Gradually my search paid off. I discovered that my primary addiction was to the repetitive pattern of my thoughts and that this addiction was being reinforced by the painful emotions my thoughts were creating. I was wholly identified with my thoughts and I had lost all knowledge of who I was beyond the movement of my mind.

The No Thought No Problem meditation broke the loop of thought and emotion that had me trapped for so many years. It’s design is based on the combined techniques of the authors and mentors who have guided me. It has helped me overcome several afflictions caused by repetitive, destructive thinking. Some of these include anxiety/worry, feelings of inadequacy, self-doubt, and lack of attention.
